Crew Manifest

Meet the Humans Behind WazAI

Small team. Loud opinions. Everything you see in WAZU is built by this crew — plus an army of AI agents from Agentic1.

Principles

The rules we refuse to break even when growth tempts us.

NO TEMPLATES

Every interaction has a spine. No polite placeholder fluff. If it’s there, it does something.

BUILDER-ONLY

We ship fast. Feedback loops live inside WhatsApp — not slide decks.

DATA-LOCKED

Per-contact vaults. Zero voyeurism. You own your chaos. We don’t peek.

Core Crew

You see the effect inside WhatsApp. This is the squad responsible for the cause.

Founder · Systems · Voice & Infra

Sean O

Started WAZU after losing one too many “important” WhatsApp messages. Leads product direction, voice pipelines, infrastructure, and the “why does this actually work?” layer.

Morne Olivier

Brings structure to chaos. Focuses on commercial models, sustainability, partnerships, and making sure WAZU scales without selling its soul.

Engineering · Architecture · Execution

Turns strong opinions into shipped systems. Owns core engineering, backend flows, and the unglamorous reliability that makes WAZU feel effortless.

Execution Engine · Builder Multiplier · Controlled Chaos

The AI Crew (Agentic1)

WAZU is built by a small human crew — and a large, opinionated army of AI agents running on the Agentic1 framework. Think two builders in a garage backed by a hundred agents doing the boring, repetitive, and computationally heavy work so humans can focus on judgment, taste, and direction.

Attitude

There’s a saying: the lazy man is the father of invention. We weren’t lazy. We just refused to do the same work twice.

What they actually do

These agents code, analyse, summarise, test, refactor, tag, search, and reason — continuously feeding improvements back into the system. It’s our internal flywheel. Every problem becomes an agent. Every agent makes the next problem easier.

Control

AI has good days and bad days. Depends which side of the bed it wakes up on. We decide what it works on. We decide when it ships. We decide when it shuts up.

Why it matters

The AI crew doesn’t replace the team. It extends it. This is how WAZU ships fast without losing its spine.

Built by humans. Powered by agents. Shipped with attitude.

Advisory Council

We don’t stack names for optics.

We bring in people when they earn the seat. Our advisory council is being formed around specific mandates, not titles — each role exists to challenge us where it matters most. Advisory roles only. No operational control.

Platform & Enterprise

Advisor Seat

Former operator inside hyperscale or enterprise platforms. Brings hard-won insight into building systems that survive scale, politics, and real-world usage — not just demos.

Security & Trust

Advisor Seat

Background in privacy, compliance, and security-first systems. Keeps us honest, boring where it matters, and off the wrong side of regulators, users, and headlines.

Product & Growth

Advisor Seat

Has shipped, scaled, and killed products in the wild. Challenges assumptions around friction, habit, and monetisation — and knows the difference between signal and noise.

These seats are intentional. They get filled when the right people show up — not before.
